How far?

Hey fella's I'm on my break hear at WMU and am just wondering how far north I will have to drive to find fishable ice? Any info would be much appreciated. Kalamazoo area lakes are still around 1 inch, some open, but trying to get thicker.

I fished Fletcher Floodwaters near Hillman and Grand Lake by Presque Isle this weekend. Ice was 4 to 6 inches thick. Caught some nice perch and bluegills. Also two bass were brought in on the 1 pound test jig rods.
