Just get back from Houghton..tried to get out from our cottage on the east shore by the cut river...ice was about 1 1/2" thick...every throw of the spud was going threw the ice!! saw no one on the ice on our shore....saw a few people out off the south shore but with a broken toe I decided tohave a take it easy weekend and did a little shopping for a snowplow for the 4-wheeler
