older flasher for ice???(pic) value?

oki found this for sale on another site its basically a "original" vex it is in great working order and i only plan on using it for ice fishing. what is it worth approx. and what would be better picking up this or spending a 100 or so on a cheap sonar type device? i really like the accuracy of the flasher though... im torn. also i guess fl-8 parts can be used in this one so parts are available

Years ago I was on a lake and a guy had one. It worked great. He was picking up gills left and right. Don't know what its worth. Make a cheap offer ($50) and go from there.

W.M. is right but I would not fool around to much and let someone get it before you have a chance to if you like the price.

Do you know if it comes with the tranducer and battery for icefishing or will you have to purchase them separtely.
If you do that is something to consider.
