Does anyone know where I can go and have my shanty zipper repaired?? I bought a new shanty last year and the zipper broke, and my shanty door won't close. It defeated the purpose of taking my lantern or heater out there with me. I should have been addressing this problem over the summer, but now it looks like we may be in business soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most dry cleaners shops have commercial machines, might try that, or any canvas boat cover place will do repairs also. If your good with a needle and thread, do it yourself.
If the zipper is trashed maybe try that falcrum stuff. I had a shanty with 2 doors and just used the other one, then sold it for 1/2 price when I got my new one.

Automotive Trim and Upholstery shops will take of it. Check the Yellow Pages for one near you.

Don't forget to oil the zippers before the season starts. I brush on oil along the entire zipper using a small paint brush. Zip it and unzip it a few times to get it worked in. Helps prevent sticking and freezing. Works great!
