MS deer drive?

Just curious, anyone interested in getting together for a deer drive today (Friday) or tomorrow (Saturday) in the Lansing area?

I'm still not sure how I feel about drives, but I figure there is only one way to find out--and that is to participate in one ;)

and I'm dying to do some hunting, haven't been able to get out with the gun yet and I'm stuck here in lansing for the weekend.

the only question i have . do you have private property to do this on or are you pushing state land? pushing state land on a holiday weekend when theres sure to be hunters in the woods might not go over to good.

I actually don't have any place to head to, and I agree--state land really wouldn't be a good place to head to :)

so I guess I'm also looking for someone to volunteer a place to head to as well.

why not state land? We have had great luck driving swamps on state land. It is all about what the property looks like.

safety and a little respect for the guys out there. most of them are hunting state land cause thats all they have and most of the time theres too many guys hunting it without a group pushing it.

i hunt state land in southern mi and i welcome the drives....i hunt in my treestand, and have been rewarded by the other hunters moving the deer. just wish there would have been one going on turkey day, never saw a deer yesterday.

safety is the only concern i would have....other than that, i would go for it.

come on down to where i hunt, we'll all get together and push some big southern michigan swamp bucks.......plenty of areas to drive......very few hunters is the norm. only saw 3 others on opening day!!!!!!
