Pond Report - 11/22/03

[Fried Fillets]

2 guys + 4 hours = 15 keepers. Started at the Bassett (19 fow), pulled some decent fish, then they completely quit. Moved a little east, nothing. Went to the middle of the lake (20 fow), water was stained, got most of our fish here. The wind changed, then died and so did the bite. Tried the Bassett again, nothing. From the group of boats I saw, we all moved together it seemed, nobody was tearing them up.

About the same report Fried Fillets, I went out with tin can. (Eric) 7 hrs. All American side. The First 2 hrs. we got 18 perch. ---all except 2 were huge, well 10 1/2 or better and 2 small but yummy Walleyes. After that NOTHING . We fished from GPYC to Huron point. including the marinias< dirty nothing in there eighter.

All said It was great to be out 11-22-03 and get a sunburn. Eric ended up with a few bags of perch and it sounded like the duck hunters had a great day. The photo is Tin Can, his boat and a few of his perch/eyes.

Yep Ed, it was fun. Thanks for coming out. Hopefully next week end will bring lots of fish. Gotta say it is fun catching walleye while trying for perch.
