Just talked to a couple buddies on the cell phone, there over fishing off the bassett for perch, a small camo duck boat approched them, to there surprise three co's were in the boat, no ticket's were given, but did ask where they got the minnows:eek: said they trapped there own in the lake, co's left after checking there paper's. Be carefull out there.......

I heard a rumor today , don't know if it is true but if it is I'll be an American fisherman only. A buddy Stated he heard when you buy your Canadian lic. next year, you will need to get an extra stamp to keep Walleye.

Anyone heard this. I hope it's only a rumor but ya never know with the Canadians?

After they have added the slot limits to the walleye, and this was a pain. If they add another cost you can bet I won't be going to Ontario to fish. They might as well just make the walleye and pike fishing catch and release.

Took my 9 year old son last spring to northen Ontario. He had a blast. He hated throwing back the nice eater size 18 inchers though. He was looking forward to going back next spring.

This has been an annual trip for my dad, oldest son and I for years. Just now breaking in the youngest.

The rules are changing so fast you need to read up every year before you venture to Ontario.
