I was bowhunting rabbits this weekend with a group of bowhunters shooting longbows. One of the guys was telling us that superglue gel works great for glueing on feathers. Has anyone ever tried this glue? He said it sets up in 5 minutes and fully dries in 24 hours.

I've never tried Super Glue, but what I've found works real well is the fletching tape. There's no drying time and I've never had a feather come loose. In fact, I lost an arrow in the yard one day and it rained. The next time my husband mowed the lawn (about a week later) he found the arrow just under the grass. The feathers had to be steamed and brushed back into shape, but they were still holding tight.

I use super glue (gel or liquid) all the time for quick repairs, and it works very well for me. <----<<<

Hi, my name is Steady Eddy, I'm an enthousiastic traditional bow shoother from The Netherlands from the famous Unicorn Team. I allways use hot glue, you know, the kind that melts in a hot melting gun. This works great for us.

Best regards, Eddy
