But Travis Stewart, a seventh-grade science teacher, wouldn't take no for answer. He wanted to start an archery club at John Glenn where kids could shoot real bows and arrows, and learn hunting skills. I like reading post like this. I wish more teacher and schools would put on programs like this. In stead of teaching the tree-hugger ways.

Fremont Middle School (Newaygo Co) has had archery for the last five years.
The neatest part of the article to me was the actual field trips and the real hunting experience. That is special.

I had to pull this up again. My studnetsa are asking me to sponsor an archery program. It would be brand new and we have no equipment or anything! Cross your fingers, here I go.
