if possable vacumn seal them. i have some from last year that i just took out and they taste like they where just made.if not i would suggest double wrapping them in saran wrap and put in freezer bags.

W B is right, as long as all the airs out, thats the key to freezing meat. I butcher deer every year, and have had venison for 2 years in freezer without a problem. (It was my friends venison, mine don't last that long :p ). I double wrap everything in saran wrap making sure to get air out, then one layer of freezer paper on top of that. I buy in the bulk at GFS, those saran wraps are so much easier to work with than the little ones, and last forever ;) Have done summersage, breakfast sausage,brats....you name it, just get that air out and your all set.
