They include these big boot covers to put on your boots then you put this sleeping bag on.

I read a big article about it a couple years ago where a guy was way up in saskatchewan(sp) hunting and he said it really saved his butt.

I only hunt out of my tree stand and it was WAY too cold last year.

I about froze.

I'll try it out and let you guy's know

I just got 2 mesh vests with pockets all over front and back to put disposable handwarmers in. You wear it under your coat, I havent tried them yet. But theyre only like 10 bucks.

I'd be really interested in finding out how it worked with someone who was bowhunting. It's a lot easier to make noise mistakes when firearm hunting, but you don't have that luxury when bow hunting.

If anyone out there tries it with their bows, please give us an online review!!

I was on their website four days ago and am seriously considering ordering one. I'll be interested in hearing about your experience with it.

My neighbor bought one last year to take on a November Saskatchewan hunt, he loved it. I borrowed it just to try it out and it works great the only cons I can come up with are 1. you need a good field of vision not just a narrow shooting lane because it takes a few seconds to get the zipper down and get ready and 2. buy larger than you think you need. His was a large, long and at 5'-8 1/2" I found it to be short when sitting.

I meet the guy that makes these a couple years ago and actually went to his house in WI to see them firsthand. He is a bowhunter in northern WI and hunts from a treestand in all kinds of weather. He was a very friendly guy and in fact I think he used to have a money back guarantee if you got cold.

I have not used this one but have made a different one. One day in the future hopefully it'll be on the market. I would say you would not be sorry with it. I can sit on stand all day in mine, toasty warm! Unfortunatly it looks like there is no need for it this next week. Maybe the 2nd week or for muzzy.

I just picked up socks that heat up and are battery operated. I found them at Walmart, but Jays also has some. I tried them, and they work ok! They are no replacement from sitting in front of a warm fire, but it does help to keep feet from freezing. Walmart was considerably cheaper than Jays in cost, eventhough they both seemed to have the same design.

I used to use handwarmers that had a jell in the packet. there was also a small disk that looked like a dime. To activate the heat, you would bend the disk back and forth and this would cause the jell to heat up. The warmers worked awesome! I havent been able to find those warmers anywhere in stores. Does anyone know what ever happened to those warmers (recalled, discontinued, or am I just looking in the right stores)?

Thanks,
Rich

Well as you guys already know the weather was hardly cold enough to need it.

It was in the low 40's dropping down to upper 30's on friday.

So I tried it with out any extra gear. I went out in a t-shirt and paints to try to simulate the cold weather.

It worked great. I love it.

I shot a doe at 20 feet she walked right by me. I was trying to see if she would spot me with the suite on since it's kinda bulky.

I was 20 feet up and she had no Idea I was there.
She was an old leary doe also so I know it was a good test.

I would say however if you have trouble with hights it is a little bulky trying to put it on. So you have to manuver around a bit to get it on in a tree stand.

But as far as how it works I give it a thumbs up..
