I was out on Saturday and Sunday and I expect because the water was dead calm the fish turned off. I managed 12 real, nice ones in shallow in front of Art Van's house by GPYC . I would try in close were ever you go. Look for wind conditions and if it's flat, chances are it will be a slow day.

If you’re planning on going in the next couple days, you won't have to worry about flat conditions. You might have to worry about drowning though! ;)

Well guys I am new to the sight, Ed Michrina (My Brother in Law) told me I should register, so I did. I am planning on heading out either Saturday or Sunday depending on weather and winds, my little 15 footer seems to like to scoop in 4ft or larger waves. I go by Tin Can on the water, feel free to bump me on channel 68 and I'll let you know how it is going if you head out. I'm usually on the water by 8:00am.

MSUICEMAN, Now and then I check out a sight Great lakes fishing, it is so so on info, but some guys reported perch off 10 mile a couple of days ago. I don't really care for the sight too much because now and then it gets a little trashy with language. Not sure how accurate the info is but thought I would let you know.

Once again, thanks so much to Highpowered for taking me out, great fishing with ya, not the best catching, hopefully we can do something about that next time!

Lots of fog (pea soup) earlier in the day, thank god for GPS.Got off the water before all hell broke lose. Thank god, holy shimoly! oh, btw, lots of ducks out there, quite a bit of shooting from the layout guys. NO ONE else out fishing, well, one other boat.

Any idea what the water temp was??? Thinking it may be time to start going shallower. Headed to the bay in 2 weeks to fish the cuts, if I can find any water in them.

When I was out Sunday, the water temp was 45. Tuesday it was 46. That's the last time I was out. This site says it's 47.7 now, with
5 foot waves. It's pretty accurate on water temps, but they will probably be pulling this buoy out soon. www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.phtml?station=45147

Gils & Crappies are just starting to show up in good numbers in Fairhaven canals........

my pleasure Steve, too bad we couldn't have hooked into 99 of your fish's brethren (or sistren as the case may be). Ah well, next time. I'm thinking maybe the Saginaw River this weekend, let me know if you want to give it a try. It was great fishing with you and making another friend from this great site. Here's the pic I took of the 11.5" perch MSUICEMAN got:
