broken clays

I was just sitting here thinking, a rare pasttime for me. I just recalled that up until the late 60's/ early 70's they used to install traps along the east wall of the GPF pier and shoot clays all fall and winter. The bottom there has got to be littered with hundreds of tousands of clays. (not to mention all that lead shot lol) It would seem to me that there should be some good fishing there due to the bottom composition transition. Anyone ever try there?

I don't know Esox but I would think the clay would break down rather quickly? don't worry you still can take your boat a ways from shore and shoot away. just use steel shot.
