Erie Metropark Ramps

I noticed a couple of weeks ago that there are no signs prohibiting power loading at Erie Metro. I was caught up in about 40 bass boats taking out for a tournament. Everyone was dropping a partner off, waiting away from the ramp and then power loading. I fell into place and followed suit. I had always thought that you couldn't power load at Erie, but I sure don't see any signs against it. Is it just that DNR ramps that don't allow it? I assume if the concrete ramps are poured out far enough, then it's not an issue.
