What's the best way to store a marine battery for winter..........fully charged or fully drained of charge?

full charge and cold is good for the winter.
Fully charged + full electrolyte
(unless you don't want to ever use it again !)
store where it won't freeze and where off gassing does not present a fire hazard.
:D

I've stored them fully charged all winter. Never had a problem. Store them on a shelf, Never on a floor! You want them to have even temperature. When they see colder temps on the bottom and room temp on the rest they warp the plates and they are done. I proved that one year.
