Well I cut a slice of onion (cut in half) and about a third of a green pepper cut into chunks per jar. It looks pretty darn good. Will have to experiment with adding other stuff like bbq sauce next time.

Well the onion/pepper venison is good. Made one last night with BBQ sauce in it. Warning about the BBQ sauce- make sure you don't add to much. With the juice from the meat and the sauce the jar is filled right to the top with juice. Will let ya know how it tastes in a couple days when I try it.

Becareful of the peppers. They must be cooked 10 minutes longer because of botsulism (sp). Peppers are the worst if you don't cook can comepletely, you'll end up on the johny on the spot all night.
