is there anyone out there that has a recurve in the 40 -45# range at 28". In the $200 and lower range. Preferably in green glass backing.

Try Ebay they have kodiak mags on there all the time. I think the bows made in 72 had the green glass not positive though. If you can't find one there try one of the traditional shows around the state this year. Good Luck
