Venison Roast
Ingredients:
Venison Roast
1/4 cup baking soda
1/4 cup salt
dry Lipton onion/mushroom soup mix
carrots
potatoes
onion
Directions:
The day before - Take the unthawed venison and
put in a container large enough to cover it in
water.
Mix the baking soda and salt with enough
water to cover roast. Pour mixture in container with
venison to cover meat. You may also want to throw at
little seasoning salt in there. Let roast soak overnight
in this brew.
Now to cook. Use a slow cooker or crock pot. Take venison
roast out of water mixture. Throw it in the pot with carrots
potatoes and sliced onion. Pour in enough water to almost covereverything.
Cover with Lipton soup mix. Put this baby on low
and let it cook for about 8 hours. Enjoy!
