Northwoods Tenderloin,is there another way ?
one whole venison back strap,tenderloin.
variety of different apples.
peaches, pears or any other fruits you like.
onion,red and green bell peppers.
three pounds of honey.
2 sticks of butter.
cut one inch slices down the entire length,but don`t cut all the way through.
put it in a deep pan,usually in a big circle.
next put apple slices in each cut you made.
now cut up all your other fruits pineapple,green@red peppers, onions,place them all around and in the middle
cover entire dish with honey,use alot don`t
be bashful.
cut up two sticks of butter spaced evenly on top.cook at 350
approx.30 minutes.
check on it though,you don`t want to over cook
just a little tinge of pink in the center.
it`s also incredible,on the grill.
