Hey Bulldog,
Let's go look at access points for the Clinton farther east this Sunday.
Young Miss Riley wants to come along and bring her Mickey Mouse pole.
I got my new (used) reel in the mail yesterday, and I am amped to try it out.
What do you say we go right after early mass? I will have coffee and bagels if you want to come out and get us.

Mostly been hitting on wax worms and yarn eggs. This weather we are having is really screwing things up so plan on working hard for any fish you get. Wax worms under a float above the coffer have been best. I saw Steelyarn take 2 in 2 days. I myself haven't even had a hit with last years salmon spawn.
A few people have tangled with steelies using spinners or hot-n-tots also. The spinners are suited for above the coffer but the hot-n-tots are hard to fish here and expensive to lose. Good Luck.

Gunrod is right i was there from sun up till about 4:00pm worked hard all day w/out a strike this was 3/14 about 10:00am an older fella picked up a nice buck just below the coffer across the walk bridge w/hot-n-tot. Some say he takes a fish every day, using this method. like gunrod said could get pretty costly. Well for what its worth yesterday was a poor day, the lunar phase fishing calander even stated poorthis weekend should be fair and getting better as time goes...

Thanks gunrod,steelyarn for your input
amos and I did a littlesearch and find on the
Huron ended up at the park in flatrock about
twenty line wetters , nothing landed in the
hour or so we tested the waters, tried both
wax worms and spawn bags in acouple locations
had a good time just being out I tried the Clinton
on monday for about three hrs from the dam down
to the big bend at trails end no luck , about six
or so daring souls also empty handed , but still
had a good time, this weather change dosn't help
but I think I 'll get amos and try again Sunday
