I buy and sell many knives, but one of my great pleasures is actually giving them away. And as a thanks for the nice welcome (despite my contreversial views on a dove season) here, I'm offering these two fine knives. Do you know a young hunter who could use them? The 'dropped' hunter is exactly what I use, for my deer unzipping chores.... and I have dozens of knives to choose from. It's carbon steel, 7 3/8" overall, 3 1/4" blade. The Flexible Fillet knife is Stainless, 10 1/2" overall, 6" blade. Both have a quality leather sheath.

Both are in brand new condition. These knives were produced as part of Imperial's 'Frontier' line in 1975, part of the company's effort to make a truly quality knife... As such, they had Camillus Cutlery actually make them. See photos from the original catalog in my gallery, the "free knives" photo. If you know a youngster who would like them, just post me a private message, and the first one gets them. Trust me, these are first rate; I'd never give a kid junk.

Howdy, Gr8-

That's a mighty generous offer! I've PM'd you in response.

How's about letting me (and the rest of the members) know how to check out your wares? I'd sure like to have someone on these boards with whom I could do business, and you know, I just never seem to find the perfect knife.....:)

OK... thanks for taking them off my hands.

I'll wait awhile before posting any knives for sale. This is a geniune offer for a kid; I'm not trying to generate business.

Email me your address. I'm at:

I got four requests, but luckily I was sandbagging... I have a couple more, and a couple of nice, new, in the box Schrade 'outfitters' that I'll get out to you guys.

Knives are great and I have a bunch, but I've never had kids. You guys are lucky, and thanks for turning out the next generation of hunters/fishermen. And thanks for letting me contribute. I mean, this is making my day.
