Collins Park boat launch a free-for-all during heavy traffic

What a madhouse!

That's what I thought as I watched the melee of boats coming and going at the Collins Park boat launch on Reeds Lake last Sunday.

 I've seen the same rudeness at bellvill too, especialy from Jet skiiers. Some drop a driver off ahead of those waiting, then expect to barge in ahead of those who have been waiting in line.

I said it before and I'll say it again. 95% of problems at launches could be easily eliminated if people would just get their act together. Have their equipment ready to go and learn how to drive a tow vehicle and trailer. The longest lines of boats could be launched in no time if people would get their boat off the trailer and GO!!!
Instead, inevidibly "Jackknife" Jim will wedge his trailer lengthwise between two ramps while his new 25' cruiser is swinging in the channel cause he only used a bow-line. Meanwhile, the tow truck is trying to get past the line of boats to get Clems 1976 GMC with 311,000 miles that dropped a trans on the ramp.
The number of people and the launch conditions, etc...bla..bla..bla.. it comes down to people not knowing what they're doing.
