if you still have not e-mailed or called your state representatives asking for their support of a dove season PLEASE DO SO.
my state rep matt gillard stopped by the shop wednesday and said that most of the letters and e-mail they are getting is against the passage of a dove season. he admitted that he supports a dove season but said the anti's have their machine up and running.
if you small game hunt or not i am asking for your help. every hunter on this site should have sent in a least one e-mail to their state legislators. if you have not please do so NOW.
we have told rep tabor that the hunting community would support such a bill. if we do not, why should they pass any pro hunting legislation ever again. tell your friends and family that we need their help now.

Hunters are traditionally not a group that likes to sit down with pen or pencil, or in today's world, the keyboard, but it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY if we are going to save the heritage of hunting as a whole-again, this is NOT just about dove hunting!!

Wisconsin is currently enjoying their very first dove season EVER, if they can do it, we can, too, but it is going to be a fight-no doubt about it, especially since anti-hunters tend to spend a lot more time inside writing letters to their legislators while we're outside enjoying the beautiful fall weather.

PLEASE support this effort-I just returned from the state of Ohio and spending approximately $400 in that state that I think the businessman and sportsmen of Michigan would rather see spent here!
