Went dipping on the opener, nothing in yet. About 10 other guys out though. We'll give it another try in a few days.

If we get a rain be ready!
They are picking up the odd walleye right now so I think there might be a few smelt in the river.
Hopefully we'll get a good run this year.
If you get any Shad try freezing them for bait later in the year. They work great on Giant catfish and Pike.

I think you are right. Depending on what the weather is like, we may go this weekend. I'll leave a report if we do go.

There were a few smelt netted last night by the filtration plant.
