Is there a pump or vacuum unit that is available to aid in the changing of the oil in an OMC outdrive? Getting the oil out isn't the problem, it's trying to squeeze those plastic bottles to get the oil back in.

I have a little pump that screws to the top of a quart bottle. It looks like the ones for hand lotion except it has a hose that goes up to the hole. It still isn't fun. The best thing I've found is:
Do it on a warm day and allow the sun to heat the oil up for and hour or more. It goes in alot easier that way.

What Freepop refers to is pretty much what everybody uses. Actually, they're not that bad to use. They do a good job of keeping the air out. Only about 6.00 at most boat or auto stores that carry them...

if you want to get the new lube warm you can sit the bottles in a tub of hot H2o,,,this helps in the late fall!!

Thanks for the help, any idea as to the names of some of the stores that might carry that pump.

Any Marine store. I actually got mine at the Auto Value in Romeo.
