I had my 9 year old grand son shooting my bb gun this week end. Did a real good job. he is not a real agressive kid so I needed to get him light to shoot. His 7 year old sister would shoot my 308 if I would let her.
My grandson wasn't to keen on going to the goose blind with me on Monday but he went. I never got a shot but he asked when he could go again.

Woodsmaster, welcome to the site! Thanks for sharing the information on the good deal on the BB gun. I hope you really enjoy it.:)
Multibeard, sound like your Grandson is looking forward to your next trip to the goose blind and your Granddaughter isn't too far behind!

Thats sounds like you got a really nice BB gun.
When I was younger my dad use to pay me a quarter for every tooth pick I could hit with my first bb gun.
Just a thought:D
Sorry Steve:p

Woodsmaster,
BB Guns are a good tool to learn on.
I had one when I ws your age (I'm 45 now) and I still have my BB Gun.
Enjoy it and take pictures as you travel in the woods.
I hope you have lots of fun!

Welcome to the site Woodsmaster. Cool name. I remember my first BB-gun. Used to sit out behind the house and shoot pop can's all day long.
I have a son who is 7yrs old (will be turning 8 Nov 14th). He shot a BB-gun for his first time 2 year's ago. He had so much fun, that I went out and bought a .22 We take it over to his uncle's place and shoot. He is pretty good with it, but I don't leave his side, and I watch his every movement, so that I can correct him when he does something wrong. Hopefully he will be joining the site soon :)
Shoot-a-way kiddo.
