Wow I shot bad today!! I'm not sure if it was the rain on my glasses, my feet stuck in the mud, or if it was just too damn many birds in the air at one time. It took three full boxes to shoot my 15 bird limit in Indiana today. Who says they're not a challenge.
It sure was great to have the opportunity to hunt them. I can almost taste the dove kabobs already. Hopefully, next year everyone here in Michigan will have their chance as well.
I heard that Susan Tabor is sponsoring a dove hunt in Ohio tomorrow for a group of legislatures. Hopefully seeing it first hand will help get the bill through congress.
