Does anyone use anything but NGK spark plugs in their outboards?

Thoses little suckers are expensive! I was thinking about getting a spare set. I think I'll change them at year end and keep my old set. They should be fine.

I use them in all my outboards and like them. You will save a lot by getting them from auto store rather than a marine hardware.

Do not buy at a marine store. Auto parts are the way to go. I have used Champions also. No problem with either.

i live and die by NGK on all my two stroke machines boat, chainsaw, snowmobiles, heck lawn mower and weed whacker too. and yes buy them from an auto parts there usually half or 3/4 the price of a marine store . really hits the pocket when i buy my snowmobile plugs on the trail at rest stops ouch they make marinas look cheap. :D

if it was me? I would sooner bone up the cash for Bosh Platty's then the NGK's,,,,,but that would only be in a special case like an old hypo tower or a alky twin,,,for your every day outboard I would run the cheep stuff since I change them in the spring anyway,,,,in fact my buddy Krutz is running a set of 4 year old champions in a mill I built for him and she still runs like a rocket!!,,,
for my personal rigs I run champions because the auto store I do busines with stocks them but if they have the same heat range in a Delco I will snap them up in a hot sec.,,,if I did not change them every spring I would insist on the Delco's,,,, I am not a big fan of champion plugs but I also can't think of ever having problem with them, in an outboard that is!,,but like I said I change them every spring
I will say that I will not put champions in my truck or car,,just never been happy with the performance over the long haul
