Dear Sportsmen Friends,

Through the marvelous generosity of four of the major telemetry and electronic collar vendors, the Virginia Hunting Dog Owners' Association (VHDOA) is having a collar sale to raise funds for its political and legislative advocacy work on behalf of hunting sportsmen. VHDOA is a three year old organization that complements the Sportsmen's and Animal Owners' Voting Alliance's nationwide education and advocacy efforts. VHDOA has actively lobbied for sportsmen this year in Richmond, Washington and Sacramento, CA. See http://vhdoa.uplandbirddog.com/index.html

Training and recovery are integral parts of hunting with dogs. Rapidly evolving technology and improved behavioral understanding have made systems such as those provided by Tracker Radio Systems, Tri-Tronics, Inc, Innotek, Inc and Wildlife Materials International, Inc. nearly indispensable to knowledgeable dog owners. It’s most gratifying to see the leaders in this field willing to actively support efforts to preserve our hunting traditions. The following collar units are more fully described on ebay. Please place your bid soon.

Tracker Maxima 1000/5: For tracking and locating bird dogs or hounds up to 12 miles. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2342442955

Tri-Tronics PRO 500XLS: For training any breed of dog - a favorite of retriever trainers. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2342562796

Innotek CS2000: For training any breed of sporting or bird dog; operates up to 3 collars. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2342650501

Wildlife Materials Magnum #3190: For tracking or locating hounds up to 9 miles. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2342685328

Please patronize these supportive equipment suppliers. They understand that our hunting future is their future too.

Also, kindly help publicize this effort by cross posting and forwarding this message to other hunting dog message boards and your sportsmen friends. Thank you. Have a safe and wonderful fall.

Sincerely,
Bob Kane
