Venison Shish-Cabobs ala Tache'
Backstraps work best but any cut of the venison will work equally as well.
Combine and Marinade the following items;
Venison
1 bottle of Port Wine
2 Onions cut in quarters for easy skewering
2 Green Peppers
8 Cloves Garlic, mashed
2 Tablespoons Oregano
2 Tomatoes cut up
Marinade for 24 hours and then grill on skewers.
Heat left-over marinade and serve as sauce for meal or cook wild rice/plain rice/or pilaf and serve with meal...
Meat is tender and quite flavorful.....
