Ok I just got back and whats on sale is the Federal steel shot from I oz -4.00 a box to 1 1/4 oz High brass for 5.00 and others 6.00. All of the shotgun shells are 60% off. No other ammo , I thought Id clarify and save someone a trip.

Now whats better High brass or classic? I bought highbrass..?!

All the store here had on sale was Winchester Game Loads $3.09 a box High Brass $7.99.

60% would have been great but $3 and chance is good.

I checked the K-mart here and they were not on sale. Then I went to buy a private land doe permit and they didn't know how to do it:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Stick with your local hardware/baitshop for licenses. Too many time we all have gone to k-mart of meijers and stood in line only to want to reach behind the counter and slap someone:eek:
You know WE pretty much know how to run that license machine after trying to coach some newbie all the time:D Somebody gave me heck a day ago over the doe permits and you needed a property tax id number. 2 clowns argued 5 minutes over it. I told them both to put all zero's in the tax id and all zero's in the phone no. part. Wouldn't ya know it went thru!;)

Well I picked up a tail light for my boat trailer for 10 bucks and some more lures for 2.00. The competition here is feirce and everyone has to have a sale to get any interest I guess. Its tempting to start a resale shop with all these deals going on constantly.

I like the fact that our local meijers has the self serve E-license station. So I don't have to deal with dumb people, just myself :). Its just like useing the dnr online license purchase, except it prints the licenses out on the neat paper

I went to the Kmart in Grand Rapids and NO 60 % ammo.
Just the $3.09 game load which is no big savings.

Since K-Mart dumped their fishing stuff, I wonder if they'll dump the hunting stuff? and camping stuff?
