Made it with the walleyes tonight, the wife always likes it!!!

2lbs green beans
1 whole lemon
salt
water
pepper
Heavy Duty aluminum foil

Clean and snap beans
Place beans in the middle of a decent size piece of foil
Thinly slice 1/2 lemon and place on beans
squeeze rest of lemon on beans
salt an pepper

Fold foil like you are making an envelope, bring sides up and roll and fold down to seal, then fold 1 end making sure everything is tight. Pour about 1/4 cup of water into open end and seal tight.
The beans will cook/steam in the foil..... After about 3 or 4 minutes on a HOT grill, you should see the "envelope" start to expand from the steam..... Total cooking time is about 8 to 10 minutes,,,, remove "envelope" from grill, place on plate and wait for your walleyes to finish, then cut "envelope" open and enjoy!!!!:D

Sounds like a winner!

My garden has been crankin' out the beans. I'll give this one a try.

You're such a heathen. Why would you over-power those delicate little beans?

:D LOL Come on Paul, let's stick to drinkin'. Let those cats do the cookin'. :)

We cook sliced zuchinni from our garden this way.

If my wife is cooking, she skips the pepper. If I am manning the grill I do pepper and add a little garlic salt. :)

LOL Ralf. Those beans can handle a little abuse.

I do like your suggestion however.:D
