Dowagiac

I fished the Dowagiac for Steelhead 3-1-01 from 4:30 pm till 6:30 pm without any luck. I tried flies, spawn, and spinners. I did not venture far from the parking lot, but it did feel good to get out.

Well I tried the Dowagiac again tonight, 5:30 till 7:00, no luck again. Just a little bit warmer weather is all we need.

Hey muck, is the water slowing down any? I was thinking about trying the dow this weekend.

In my opinion the water level has not gone down any appreciable amount since my prior trip on 3-1-01. Good luck, maybe I'll see you there.
