Saginaw Bay - Callahan Reef

Have not been in that part of the Bay yet, so may have an opportunity this weekend. Any thoughts on where I might launch my 17 ft Lund? Any clues about where and how would also be appreciated.:confused:

Fishing Joe, you can launch at the saginaw river mouth and shoot out from there. Or quanicasee has a launch. Its about the same either way you go. If you go out of the river mouth just keep it trimmed up till you get to the channel. Then your set. We fished the reef earlier on and did just fair. 4 fish one trip 5 the next then the bonker with 2 fish. Im headed to pinnconing tonight and will post tomarrow on my success or lack there of. Gonna try some casting with deries and crawlers. Hope the local boys are still out there wacking them. Makes it easy to see where to go. We caught our fish at callahan on 1/4 ounce tots. Hope this helps you out.
