GH perch are on!

The last two days at Grand haven pier have been HOT HOT HOT for perch both piers, half way out to all the way to the end lots of room, but lots of yahoos also! go get em! minnows, alewife, shad and jigs all caught limits. Mostly 8 - 11 inchers, but some jumbos thrown in, even the occasional steellhead. Good Luck

haven't been able to locate them in erie yet, so im willing to travel for 'em. fished erie for 6 hours and caught 7......not fun.

going to LSC on sunday, maybe try for them there.......going to be bass fishing mostly.....practicing for an upcoming tournament next saturday.

sorry, the perch left as fast as they came in. the fishing died friday and I guess a few were caught over the weekend early in the morning, but nothing like the all day insanity last wed and thursday. The water hit 72 degrees inshore and they went deep.

I was just wondering if it got any better since we had n-ne winds sunday. The last time I was out it was a south wind and we only got one in 50'. I think with perch it is winds from the east the fish bite the best.
