Who all takes their children hunting and fishing with them and what ages did they start going with you? And please share any fun adventures you have had with them.

I have 2 lil guys 7 and 9, a boy and a girl. Since me and the hubby are very active in hunting and fishing they have tagged along for quit sometime. Altho this is the first year my son actually went hunting with me for the all mighty buck. It's a blast to see their faces when hunting I think they enjoy it more than I do. And fishing lets just say I have 2 kids that think they are Babe Winkerman, lol. Take care Born

I have a 7 year old son that loves the outdoors. Fishin' is one his favorite things to do, mom, too. This year is the first time he actually went hunting with me. I took him small game hunting. He's kinda 'noisy' inside. He's not settled enough for deer, yet. Small game gave me a chance to educate him while afield. There isn't the pressure of being quiet and still for so long. He's hooked. Dad's proud. Happily ever after.

I think you're right about them enjoying it more than us. I can remember those magic days with my father. Not old enough to hunt but old enough to go along. There was nothing greater in the world and I'm glad my boy looks at it the same way.

I have three daughters 15, 11,& 8 and they all love to go fishing with my wife and I. its great to see them in dance class during the week and putting their own worms on their hooks on the weekends. I took the oldest one turkey hunting last year we had turkeys come in but couldn't get a shot on old tom.

I have two little girls and another one on the way. My oldest turns three in two weeks. She went fishing last summer and loves it. I got her her own spin cast and she has been practicing and is actually getting pretty good!
We are going to have a lot of fun this summer on rivers and lakes.
She has a few years before I take her out hunting, but she has come with me hiking/scouting. It frequently ends up with me carrying her all the way back, but heck, she's three, so she doesn't weigh much:).

I'm 16 and my dad has been takeing me fishing ever since I can remember, we still go to this day. We both can not wait until the ice is gone.

I do remember going bow hunting with him once. It was in the afternoon and he was helping me climb up to my stand, cause I was to scared to go up my self. Well we get half way up the tree and like 5 does walk in. Well being young and not knowing all the rules I just yelled "look at the deer". Oh man, my dad laughed so hard. Well once I got into my tree and he got into his, some more does walked in, this time I was quiet. Well they never got within range of my dad but I had lots of fun.
