Would 2 smaller drift socks be better than one big one? I fish from a 25' Trophy. I'll use the drift socks for slowing down the troll speed, besides contol when I drift. I was going to get 2 drift socks for the 16' to 18' foot boats instead of a larger one. For trolling I would hang one from each side attached to the front trailer eye hook.

I was just on a charter on Monday and he used one on each side of the back of the boat. He had a 31' boat and they worked well for him. He would pull 1 in every once in a while to change his speed.
