Newburgh Lake Bass 8/11

Fished the lake for a couple hours this afternoon with good results. Five large and smallmouths over 15", the biggest just under 20.

Fished 3" white/gray Slug-gos near edges of weedbeds. Thanks to Subocto for turning me on to these lures.

sounds like fun! the slug go's have turned off on my home waters lately, cranks are all that are working for me, barely. nice catch. :D glad to see someone is catching!:)

Drove by Newburg on Sat. morning,, the floating docks were "shoulder to shoulder" at 7am. lol

I was fishing from shore on the north side.

I can imagine that place is a madhouse on the weekend, that's why I like to go on Monday afternoons. I just about had the place to myself.:cool:

What part of the north shore? Over by th damm or on the west side where the river comes in?
