The pond was very small but had fish in there like no other. Shane was the man with landing 3 huge fish. I will let shane tell his stories but here are some pictures. Shane, thanks for inviting me. I had a blast. Hopefully, I can get up one more time before I head off. Get that salmon rod ready:P Well, I am off to some beach. I am in Post Hope Canada right now. I might be fishing a "world famous" trout stream tonight. Only probem is, I didn't bring my trout gear:(

Hopefully more salmon will be in when I get home:)

I had a blast, I usually fish by myself so it was fun to have someone who knew what they were doing for a change. The pics don't do the fish justice, Dan's gill was at least 11 in. and my bass measured out at 18 and 19 in. and my cat measured at 23 in. and was at least 4-5 pounds. Dan guessed every single fishes size and was right on the money when I measured them, I couldn't believe it:) The first bass I got on a treble hook tipped with three preserved minnows, but the second one was awesome, I had changed to a regular #6 or 8 hook and I had a crawler on and I got a decent gill who could have been an eater on a slow day and as I was reeling him up the bass came flying up from the bottom and slammed the gill and then just sat by shore while I pulled the gill out of the water, when I told Dan that a bass just tried to get the gill he told me to put it back in and the bass hit him three or four more times and finally held on and I actually hooked him and he held on to the gill and I was able to get both on shore. That was one of the coolest things I have ever seen while fishing.:) The cat came on a crawler and put on a great fight, I pretty much knew that it was a cat because it took a minute or two for us to even see him. I wish we could have caught more of them because they are a really good fighting fish. As you can see in the pic I was scared to even get near his head:D . I had a ton of fun and can't wait to get out salmon fishing.:)

Nice fish! By the way, that first fish is a largemouth - not a smallmouth.
