Anybody fish this lake recently? I am headed up this weekend with my cousin. He has fished it before but it's been awhile. We are staying at a campground on the lake and I'm looking for pointers for gills, bass and perch. I have a lake map that shows depths but would like advice on what to key in on for each species. PM me by 5 pm today if you don't want to post. Thanks in advance for any replies.

this may be too late, but if you can get crickets, the bluegill love 'em up there. or, you can go to the nearest stateland, turn over some leaves that are in shady areas, and collect some leaf worms.

another lake to try, if you get a chance, is harper lake.....i practically grew up on this lake during summer vacations with grandparents. there are some very nice gills, perch, bass and rainbow trout in harper lake.....5 cottages from the public launch, if you go north, was my grandparents place.

good luck to you

jstfish,

My family also has a cabin on Harper lake. It is on West Dixon. It's a little red hut. Do you still have a place up there?
