Ice conditions at stoney creek

Tuesday afternoon , north lake ice is still good and clear. Main lake "looks" the same.Didnot go on it.

I was told nobody out on big lake. Looked like the edge was getting bad by the boat launch.
The middle lake still had 8" of good ice,2" of white top.Pike must be feeding again, got 3 gills that were freshly chewed on! With any luck the ice will hold till this weekend.

Want to fish the main lake on Sunday afternoon. Anyone been there lately and can report the ice conditions. I fished the Upper Lake Wednesday night and the ice was around 10-12" and solid. I didn't stop to look at the main lake.

As of Friday night, the upper lake has 6" of good ice. Still tight to shore. Lost a lot of ice today! Watch yourselves out there this weekend!

Any newer ice conditions for Stoney to report? Especially the middle lake.

Last Saturday there was only 2"-3" of good ice left. I sat on my bucket and scraped my heal down at least 5"to hit the hard ice. Thats when I decided I had enough for the season!
If you go, bring a spud, a rope, a life perserver , and someone to drag you in!!
