Well, My buddy and I are a little crazy and we had to kill time anyway so we headed out on Lake Michigan out of Grand Haven on 8\2 in the morning. The forcast called for 0-2 waves but once we hit the pier heads we could see that it was more like 3-4 rollers. Went to 50ft and drifted in. After 2 hours and a bad case of seasickness on my part my partner caught 1 12" perch. We marked the position and motored back up to anchor but never caught another. We called it quits at 11 am and headed for Hanky Panky cove for the party but we didn't get arrested and made it home safely. We need Perch. I think September should be good.
