Never been that lucky. I've hit the pin and torn up the grass on the edge of the cup and rolled balls past the pin very close, but still no cigar.
But hey, I got a new boat on order so may not be playing as much golf next year.

Yeah, tee shots off the aft casting deck are a blast.
Oh, I'm only kidding.
My wife is my first mate and most favored fishing partner. If only she were not afraid of Pike.
We are going to introduce our grandson to fishing next year. He'll be five years old in the spring. Do you think he'll settle down some from his current sate of constant activity by then.
I do play a lot of golf, but that may change now that I have a new boat comming. Let me know if you wanna go fishing some time.
We don't know yet when the boat will arrive. All we can do is hope that it gets here in time for some fall fishing and before the weather turns cold and the water goes solid. LOL

You can use this as an excuse to head south say around February. I got the new boat last year and my golfing time allotment is reduced a ton. May be good for the game, as I now dont practice bad habits. Managed to shoot well below my 90 avaerage last Tuesday night.
Golf on the island. Take the boat over, play some golf and fish on the way back. Works for me. One ace in forty years. Wow; at that rate I'll be long gone by the time the next one comes along. :) :) :D

Sounds like a great idea. But I would have to pick a nice day. I wouldn't want to be playing golf and have the weather turn bad and be stuck on the island. 16.5' boats not the best in rough weather. I handled some pretty high waves back when I had my 1775 but this one is a little smaller and I'm not sure how it hands waves yet. But being a Lund it should be pretty sea worthy. They have redesigned the hull for '04 so I'm hoping for good results.;)
