Fletchers

Has anyone fished fletchers recently. I fished it about three weeks ago and did all right. I cought 10 bass the biggest being 16inches and about 5 pike with a 30 incher being the biggest. Had to work pretty had to get them. Weren't exactly jumping in the boat. Has any one had any luck latley.

thats fishing for you i have been fishing and cought fish all day and every day then went back later in the year and could not buy a fish

The best advice i can give is to fish it when it's extremely calm. every time ive been out on that lake when it was windy i only caught a fish here and there. two weeks ago i fished all day on a rather windy day and caught only one pike. next morning i went out and the lake was like glass and within two hours of fishing me and a buddy boated 5 pike and lost just as many. it sure is fun watching a pike follow your bait all the way to the boat and then watching him smash it. if i were u id hit it in the early morn straight out about 500 yards from jacks landing and throw a white spinnerbait above the weeds. its worked for me all year. ill be up there mid august to once again go gator huntin

Just got back from fletchers and did pretty good for only a day nad a half of fishing. I know what you mean about the wind factor. Early in the morning it was pretty brezzy and only cought one small bass. Then about 10:30 the wind died out and I cought three 28-29 inch pike within 10 minutes. Went out that night with the wind calm and only cought a few but had many strikes from big fish. just couldn't hook them. I was fishing out from Lyons landing in the stumps.Cant wait to go next weekend.

hey musk drop me a line or something on where you'll be ill be up there next weekend as well and ill prolly fish fletcher's sunday so if ya need a partner on the water let me know cuz i wanna wrestle some gators.
