flatheads on the Grand

Does anyone have advice on targeting flatheads in the Grand river? I need all the info I can get from tackle to location. Thanks in advance.

Most of the big flat heads come from the stretch below the damn down towards grandville......but there are sum flatheads and channel cats above the damn as well all the way into lansing. Look for deeper hole or gravelly stretches and big log jams....fishing at night with big live batifish is the best way to smoke a massive flathead......i dont have enough patientce to target big cats but i've taken sum nice fish in the river targeting bass and wallyes
