Weekend on Black lake--report!!!!!!

Walleye limits everytime out!!!! Perch 9-11" and lots of them!!
Couldn't keep the muskies of the lines!!! Smallmouth jumping in the boat!!!! WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!!!!

Not really that good weatherwise. Only got out for a brief time Thurs. even. Nothing!!!
Friday morning fished for about 3 hours after a later than expected start. Found clouds of baitfish but no hits. Got a little breezy and didn't fish in the evening.

Saturday rained till a little afternoon, then cloudy and damp and a little breezy.

Sunday down right windy. White caps were a rollin. Fished a small lake nearby (Ocqueoc lake) One gill. Nice lake tho.

Monday, slept in too late. Black lake was the calmest of all weekend. Oh well, spent quality time with the wife.

Will be back someday to try again!!!!

did u work the sunken island of oqueoc,mike?..we used too night troll it in the old days and make out pretty good..whats the water levels up that way this year?...........did u ever try douglas lake? when your up that way....

Sounds like my typical trip the past few times out of town. There is always next time.
