Bought mine at Wal-Mart, check in the aisle near the dehydrators. Works great for ground jerky.

If you can't find it, let me know. I see you are in Indian River and I'm due to go up to the cottage in the next couple of weeks (mullett lake) I could drop one off to you.

Chad 1,
Check out www.lemproducts.com They have them on-line for $29.95. I bought mine from them about 4 years ago and now that is about the only way that I make Jerkey.
It works like a caulking gun only it lays down strips of seasoned ground meat on my dehydrator trays. Once they are dried, I also cold-smoke them for 3 to 4 hours then hot-smoke them (180 degrees) to finish the hardening process. The end product can be as tough or tender as I want (depending on how dry I make it prior to the hot-smoking.
All of the Jerkey strips are consistant in size and thickness, thus they all get done in about the same time period. Also, mixing dry cure into the meat (the mix that I use takes 2 Tbsp per pound) takes a lot less cure than using it by the cup to make a brine that gets dumped out when the meat is past that part of the process.
Good Jerkey-makin'. Let us know how it turns out.
