If you shoot inside the 75 - 100 yd range it'll work fine.

22 mag is a good choice but the 22-250 will do a number on that chuck I shoot them both and love it...

I would hold my range to nothing greater than 75 yards, and beware of the type of ammo you use in your .22 mag--the hyper velocity stuff tends to fragment badly; not bad for crows and such, but I don't think that a wounded woodchuck crawling down his hole to die slowly is what we want. I would recommend one of the standard velocity HP bullets in the 40 grain range. Good luck.

Has anyone out here fired the tnt 22 mag from ccI? My son says that they do a very nice group at the range yesterday. Just was looking for some input too..

I use a .22 mag for chucks and it works just fine within 100 yds. My gun prefers federal premium in 50 grain JHP.
