Coyote during deer season?

I have heard in the past that if u are hunting deer and coyote walks up u can shoot it...Is this true...thanks...

Yes, it's true providing you are properly licensed, small game or fur harvester license and coyotes are in season which in the U.P. coyote season is closed during firearm deer season.

Glad my friends didnt shoot that coyote then that walk up to his bait..he thought he didnt need a license..thanks boehr
