Couldn't get a thing on Saturday. Fished out by Grassy Island, on the edges of the channels and on the flats. Nothing to show. Wish I had better news to post, anyone else out on Saturday? Let me know what I missed.

Cold front after cold front is not very condusive to catching fish. Things have been very slow on the lake since last Tuesday. Try the river, fish in there somehow seem to be less affected by fronts.

Thanks Esox. I had a feeling the cold front may shut them down, but didn't want to cancel because of that. We almost changed our minds on the way, as we had thoughts to hit the river. Maybe we should have.....

Try the channels guys. I managed 4 on Saturday and 3 more on Sunday. Only fished a few hours each day. Most boats around me were doing at least as good as my report. Bouncers down the edges in 18-25 feet of water. Lots of people chugging.

I fished the dumps on Saturday - there were only a half dozen
boats there....caught huge catfish and one large 5lb walleye.
Moved to the St Clair Light.....got attacked by the nats, millions
of the little critters....pulled up went looking for a breeze near
the channel and found somone elses marker. Caught two
more walleys - one small put back and a 3lb. Slow day considering what was going on previously. The water NE of the
light looked clean of weeds and flys....the walleyes were there
I just ran out of time.
